With Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s newest line of chic wedding bowties, it’s easier than ever to feel stylish on your big day while simultaneously supporting LGBTQ equality. The Tie Bar has partnered with national organization Freedom for All Americans and Ferguson’s Tie the Knot to fashion seven new designs especially for summer weddings.

Tie the Knot, which issues three limited-edition bowtie collections per year, combines a love for individuality and self-expression with the ongoing struggle for LGBTQ rights. $20 of each $25 purchase will be donated to Tie the Knot, which will in turn funnel 100% of profits to Freedom for All Americans, a bipartisan foundation that works to end discrimination of all forms against the LGBTQ community.

Inspired by the breezy patterns and aesthetics of their own wedding, Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, hope that these elegant and tasteful bowties will debut at summer nuptials. Make a statement with the classic red New York, or keep it fun with the rosy Vermont. And you can never go wrong with the slim and understated Signature Wedding bowtie, complete with a gray owl pattern. Owls, Ferguson writes, “symbolize wisdom but they are also a symbol of foresight, perspective and patience, which is something people fighting for LGBTQ equality must possess. Also, we think owls are cute.” We agree!
