I just saw your little put down of blues music on your web site.
While it is true that there are a lot of lazy white amateur musicians
who "play blues music" because it is easy to bullshit and fake your way
through that musical idiom (or so it would seem to the untrained ear),
there also are a lot of people who still don't appreciate what good
blues music is and what it is good for. Some people just don't get it.
If you can't tell the difference between a Muddy Waters and a Buddy Guy,
or a Big Mama Thorton and a Koko Taylor, then I pity you.
Every rock/pop/rap/soul/jazz band on this planet was influenced, either
directly or indirectly, by blues music.
